| Description | The peroxidatic activity of catalase has been demonstrated cytochemically at electron microscopic level in peroxisomes of human and mouse oocytes and their cumulus cells. The diversity in the occurrence of peroxisomes in human and mouse oocytes could explain the different resistance to the oxidative stress damage. |
