Description The authors analyse in their paper concepts as operability and resecability of lung cancer in global and as well as individual conditions. They define completeness and incompleteness of radical surgery and describe very detailed criteria of oncologic operability. Criteria of oncologic operability consists from three conditions: 1) no evidence for distant metastasis, 2) no evidence for mediastinal lymph node infiltration, 3) possibility of surgery in locally advanced tumours. The authors recommend centralisation of special care for patients with lung cancer.
