Description Only certain surgeons pay their attention to the posiibility of laparoscopic liver resections. These performances require well experienced liver surgeon, skilled in laparoscopy and the corresponding equipment of the operating theatre. The laparoscopic techniques of liver transplantation (liver splitting) and of the left hemihepatectomies are well establisshed. Our particular attention is payed to the facilitation of the atypical liver resection by use of the radiofrequence ablation method.
