Description Minimaly invasive neurosurgery is a now a standard in neurosurgical procedures.Several types of lesions are approached primary by a neuroendoscopic technique.. The combination of the endoscope and the frame-based navigation system was used in treatment of supratentorial arachnoid cysts during operations. The combination of both systems has proved to be advantageous because of safe surgical planning using the framebased stereotactic technique with the possibility of real time orientation by the endoscope.
