| Description | The development of ageing theories reflects the advancement in human knowledge; newer theories are progressive improvement of older theories. In the last few years up to decades the level of discovered implications submerges constantly deeper to subcellular and molecular structures. Despite many common features there are atill phenomena that. are specific for certain tissues, organs and argan systems. The article presents a review of changes caused by ageing in the cellitself, in general terms, then in the myocardium, in the skeletal muscle cell, in the cartilage and in the whole locomotive system. |
