| Description | The authors analyze current demographic situation and its prognosis for coming decades in the Czech Republic. Aging and hypertension have many common signs particularly in the way of affecting the cardiovascular system. Hypertension is one of the main causes of heart failure, deterioration of renal functions and development of diabetic complications, eventually even of dementia. |
