Description A group of 129 patients was admitted and observed at the Dpt. of Neurosurgery, we have demonstrated some immune system disorders in an early period after attack and also ther influence upon occurence of extracranial complications. However we can only assume the prognostic relevance of immune system disorders after severe brain injuries. The defects definitly exacerbate the risk of infection development and therefore they increase the mortality after brain trauma.
