Description Interstitial lung disease (ILD) is the group of the chronic a life threatening sickness organoleptics the low respiratory way. It was described about 160 variety of this ilnesses. The essential type of this pulmonary disease are usual interstitial pneumonia (UIP) by another name idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), sarcoisosis, extrinsic allergic pneumonita (EAP) alias allergic interstitial pneumonitis (AIP), interstitial pulmonary affection during systemic fibrous tissue disease, pulmonary coniosis and the pulmonary harm after medicine utilization. A lot of the examination can be used for the diagnostic of these dieseases. The base examinations are the analysis of the blood and the bronchoalveolar irrigation, high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT). More important often conclusive is the histological analysis of the pulmonary parenchyma. The pulmonary biopsy is usually perform by VATS (video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery). The result of the patients there were examinate in the Ist Departement of Surgery St. Anny Hospital in Brno with regard to kind of the diagnosis of IDL is reported.
