| Description | The reason for the resection of the chest wall are tumors of the chest wall tissue, metastasis, necrosis and hard infection. The growths are divided to tumors of the superficial and deep layer. The large hemangioma and malignant melanoma are severe tumors of surface tissue. The most frequent malignant tumors of the deep layer are chondrosarcoma, osteosarcoma, fibosarcoma, malignant histiocytoma, synovialosarcoma and metastasis ( brest cancer, thyroid cancer, prostate cancer, ... ). Autors present the technique of the resection. The radical and save resection line for the chest wall tissue malignant tumors is 40 mm from the tumors margin. There are described the way of the chest wall reconstruction, of the bone and soft tissue. Omentopastic, use of the mesh and musculoplatic are presented. The pations operated from year 2000 to 2008 in the Ist Surgery Department Sant Ann Hospital in Brno are presented in the data file. There are inform the diagnosis, type of the resection and reconstruction, morbidity and survive. Surgery method and technique is presented by peroperative move and photography. |
