Description The study detected differences in genotype distributions and/or alelle frequences of MMP2 -790G/T polymorphism between patients with chronic heart failure on base of IHD and IHD patients (Pg=0.001, OR=3.07; Pa=0.01). Further, highly significant association in haplotype frequences was observed between chronic heart failure on base of IHD and IHD patients (Pg=0.0014), with higer prevalence of GCGC haplotype within the CHF group (OR=29,51; P=0.000001).
