Description Research in the last years suggests that nuts can positively affect human organism. The greates concern was focused on the frequent nut consumption and the incidence of cardiovascular diseases. The article brings the results and scientific evidence to support the role of nuts in healthful eating and it deals with understanding of the biological mechanism of important componenets found in nuts.
