Description CT guided biopsy of pulmonary infiltrates has long been implemented mostly in solid lung tumors. The spectrum of biopsy indications, however, expanded in recent years. These include pulmonary infiltrates of inflammatory etiology, and last but not least fungal infiltrates in immunocompromised patients. Implementation of diagnostic puncture in these patients has its own specifics and an intervention radiologist must count with them. These include an increased risk of complications (bleeding, hemoptysis).
