| Description | Hope plays a crucial role in the care of people with serious health problems – not only for the patients themselves, but also for their caregivers. This webinar focused on how hope can be strengthened even in challenging situations, when there seems to be less reason for optimism. We briefly presented current knowledge about hope in the context of health care, its impact on the mental well-being of patients and caregivers, and practical methods for preventing anxiety and burnout. Together, we also explored how to support hope as a source of strength, meaning, and dignity until the last moments of life. |
