Description The book “Noninvasive Methods in Cardiology 2025” includes results of close cooperation with Masaryk University and the University of Minnesota. The editors and authors present findings in the fields of chronobiology and blood pressure variability in healthy individuals and in patients with hypertension and ischemic heart disease. The results were presented at a meeting held at Masaryk University in Brno. The variability of the Ambulatory Arterial Stiffness Index (AASI), obtained from seven-day 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, is very high over seven days within an individual subject. We did not find differences between healthy individuals and patients with ischemic heart disease. It was found that the reliability of the ambulatory arterial stiffness index calculated from ABPM records accurately reflects arterial stiffness in population studies, but the large uncertainty associated with its determination may limit its use in the treatment of individual patients. The book also includes the history of long-term collaboration with institutions and universities in Japan and presents scientific findings in the field of cardiovascular risk assessed using the Cardio-Ankle Vascular Index (CAVI) and other cardiovascular risk indicators.
