Description Post-operative and post-traumatic defects of the jaw and temporomandibular joint are replaced by individual implant which is necessary for optimal function and shape. For these cases, the subject of industrial property- a utility model consisting of the complete replacement of the temporomandibular joint, the ramus and part of body of the lower jaw has been created. The titanium implant is formed by condyle which is moving in plastic articular fossa, condyle and a ramus of the lower jaw is connected to the body of the mandible with titanium screws. At the junction of these two parts in the angle, it is possible to shift them in order to correct the lenght of the implant. During the surgery, the implant is covered with the remaining parts of the masticatory muscles, subcutaneous tissue and skin of the face.
