First International ABCD Course
On Monday, 26 September 2022, the 1st International Adult Learning and Basic Course of Debriefing (ABCD course) was held for colleagues from Slovakia under the guidance of lecturers MUDr. Jana Djakow, Ph.D. and MUDr. Václav Vafek. This course was attended by both medical and non-medical staff.
Thanks to the theory learned from e-learning, we could concentrate mainly on practical training during the course. Participants facilitated discussion and conducted debriefing in various simulations both individually and in tutor pairs. The topics of the simulations were varied, with simulations focusing on both technical and non-technical skills. We also discussed experience in teaching medical and other health professions and postgraduate education.
