The 1st course on Acute Conditions in Adult Intensive Care for Non-Medical Health Professions held at SIMU
We started September at SIMU with a brand new course for non-medical health professionals.
Within Acute Conditions in Adult Intensive Care, a total of 9 simulation scenarios were prepared for nurses and paramedics. Lecturers Mgr. Jan Dvořáček, Dis. and Mgr. Kateřina Kovaříková guided nine participants from all over the Czech Republic through the scenarios, so each of them had the opportunity to try out the role of a leader and a team member in a safe environment of the ICU, in the emergency room and in a simulated apartment. In addition, they learned technical skills during several workshops. The commitment of each participant was great and we believe that they will be happy to spread the idea of simulation medicine further.
