The research group has long been involved in the study of mammalian oogenesis and early embryogenesis, including the biology of embryonic stem cells. It focuses specifically on human reproduction and the applicability of basic research findings in the field of reproductive medicine. Its research activities are based on long-term cooperation with the largest Czech assisted reproduction clinic.
