FM MU has two successful applicants in GAMU – INTERDISCIPLINARY

The Grant Agency of MU has announced the results of the INTERDISCIPLINARY competition. Out of three supported projects, the Faculty of Medicine is involved in two! Congratulations to the principal investigator prof. RNDr. Monika Pávková Goldbergová, Ph.D. for the project "Machine Learning in Nanomaterial Biocompatibility Assessment" and Ing. Mgr. Jan Cimbálník, Ph.D. as co-investigator on the project "Mathematical modeling of very and ultra-fast oscillations in EEG signals".

Since there will be a lot of changes in the newly approved AZV programme period, the discussion was really interesting - we discussed the new system of evaluation of project proposals, the expertise of the PIs, international collaboration, the composition of the teams, the optimal setting of the project budget, etc. We were glad to see you and we will be glad to welcome you again.

We participated in EARMA conference last week

The European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA) held a conference in Prague last week. Conference topics included Impact, Open Science and Responsible Research and Innovation, Strategy, Evaluation and Foresight, Leadership, Proposal development, Project management and Research Information Systems. We hope we will be able to give you much better support now.
