The SENSITISE Project and CZECRIN Organise an International Workshop on Inclusivity in Clinical Trials

The main objective of the ERASMUS+ SENSITISE project is to develop a comprehensive curriculum to increase awareness of diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical trials. The project seeks to support the participation of underrepresented groups in clinical research, thereby improving the quality, generalisability, and transferability of research outcomes.

CZ-OPENSCREEN National Infrastructure Open Call

Do you have an innovative research project in the field of chemical biology or genetics? CZ-OPENSCREEN offers funding opportunities to support research ideas. We provide comprehensive services focused on identifying biologically active compounds through the screening of extensive chemical libraries using biological assays and state-of-the-art technologies integrated into robotic platforms. We offer a wide range of biochemical and cellular assays, 100 normal and tumor cell lines, and access to a chemical library of over 200,000 compounds, along with state-of-the-art equipment and personalized service.

The Department of Biology hosted the first international evaluation of research groups' activities

In March 2026, the Department of Biology hosted the first evaluation of its research groups by the newly established International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB). This expert panel conducted an in-depth review of scientific work across all of the institute’s research groups, thereby launching a new phase of the institute’s strategic development. The institute has thus taken another step toward international scientific excellence.
