Send nominations for the Werner von Siemens Prize
The Werner von Siemens Prize for teachers, students and young scientists is open until 30 November 2022. The twenty-fifth edition will distribute one million CZK in eight categories. More information (in Czech) here.
One of the winners of this prestigious award is also the Vice-Dean of FM MU, Prof. MUDr. Petr Štourač, Ph.D., in the category of Best Teaching Staff 2020.

ISAB MED MUNI
FM MU research and PhD school were evaluated by the International Scientific Advisory Board
Three days full of discussion, suggestions and interesting meetings. This was the first internal evaluation of research and doctoral studies at FM MU. On 12 - 14 October 2022, we welcomed the ISAB MED MUNI, composed of 12 international evaluators from Germany, Austria, France, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Israel and the USA. The results of the evaluation will be available to the faculty management at the end of November.

TA CR
Joint project of FM MU, FSV UK and Newton Media won the TA ČR award
The COVID-19 infodemic project, in which FM MU cooperates with the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University and Newton Media, connects medical and computer sciences with journalism. The primary goal is to counteract the distortion of information in the media. The project won the TA ČR Award in the Governance category in October 2022.
