The Tomasek Days of Young Microbiologists is an annual conference organised by the Department of Microbiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University in Brno, and St. Anne's University Hospital in Brno, in cooperation with the Czechoslovak Society for Microbiology. The Czech Medical Association J. E. Purkyně and the Society for Medical Microbiology CLS belong to other official conference organisers. The conference is held under the auspices of the Mayor of the Statutory City of Brno, JUDr. Markéta Vaňková.
We would like to inform you that at the upcoming conference, we will be focusing on supporting young authors aged 35 years or younger. As part of our efforts to provide these authors with more chances to present their work, we will give priority to oral presentations by young authors if the maximum number of talks in the program is exceeded. In this case, selected participants over the age of 35 will be asked to convert their oral communications into poster form. This step will enable us to offer young authors more opportunities for in-depth discussions and feedback on their work.

The social evening will take place on Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the restaurant of the Bowling Brno complex, Líšeňská 4515/80, 636 00 Brno-Židenice. The complex is best accessible from the Líšeňská stop (tram no. 8).
