Czech Doctoral Research Forum
You are very welcome to take part in Czech Doctoral Researchers Forum !!! which will take place in Ostrava on Friday, May 23, in the afternoon.
The event is hosted by the University of Ostrava but is open to all doctoral researchers in the Czech Republic regardless of their university or research field.
The program includes a more formal, structured program from 13:30 to 16:30 (with two thematic group discussions on PhD Supervision and the impact of AI tools on the work of PhDs) and an informal meet-up from 17:00 in a park near the venue.

Biomedical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Course (SPARK The Midlands)
Let us invite you to "Biomedical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training", a course from SPARK The Midlands (part of the SPARK Global programme of which LF is a part). This is a three-day intensive course that will take place 21-23 May 2025, hosted by Aston University in collaboration with the Centre for Innovative Medical Research (CIMR) and SPARK The Midlands. The course is aimed at developing skills in technology transfer and innovation. Participants will have the opportunity to experience working in interdisciplinary teams, learn the basics of intellectual property and regulatory aspects.

The Centre for the Development of Pedagogical Competences (CERPEK), Masaryk University, offers workshops focused on enhancing teaching skills. These workshops are open to all Masaryk University teachers and PhD students, regardless of their prior experience or length of teaching practice. The topics reflect current needs and challenges in higher education teaching and focus on specific areas of instruction and student engagement.
The sessions are led by experienced CERPEK lecturers as well as external experts. Participation is free of charge, and workshops are held throughout the semester.
