Grant office breakfast
We arranged the second breakfast with researchers on Tuesday 19. 7. 2022. We discussed the graphic services provided by FM MU and MU, such as graphic design, web design, creating a project website, the roles of the Webstudio of the Institute of Biostatistics and Analyses, the Communication and External Relations Office of FM MU and the Institute of Computer Science of MU, graphic software and licensing. We also talked about the funding opportunities for project preparation (proofreading, graphic services and business travel), such as GAMU Horizons. We look forward to seeing you next time on Tuesday 16. 8. 2022.

CZARMA
We are members of the CZARMA association
Several members of the Grant office team have joined the Czech Association of Research Managers and Administrators. This is a new professional association, a platform for sharing experience, know-how and good practice. At the same time, it will organize training events for the professional development of research management and administration staff, cooperate with research organizations, universities, public administration and similar professional associations in the Czech Republic and abroad. It will contribute to the development and cultivation of the Czech and European research area. Thanks to this membership we will provide you with project support that is in line with the latest trends.

Start of five projects under the EXCELES programme supported by the National Recovery Plan at the Faculty of Medicine
On 1. 6. 2022 the implementation of the National Recovery Plan projects under Exceles programme started at the Faculty of Medicine. These projects include the National Institute for Research on the Socio-Economic Impact of Diseases and Systemic Risks, the National Institute for Cancer Research, the National Institute of Virology and Bacteriology and the National Institute for Metabolic and Cardiovascular Disease Research. The National Institute for Neurological Research started on 1. 7. 2022.
