Computer as a component of diagnostic, therapeutic, and administrative systems. Hierarchy and function of medical information systems (MIS), structure of MIS with centralized and distributed database. Speciality of ethics and security of medical data in MIS. Standardization in medical informatics. Applications of MIS.
