The second part of Evidence-based Clinical Fellowship Programme (EBCFP) for Allied Health Professionals - finally held

Dear all, here we are again with JBI EBCFP within the ERASMUS+ project SPIDER! This time with the second part of the course for allied health professionals.

28 Apr 2021

In the first part of the program, participants started to work on the implementation project, followed by six months for its realization in their work-place. During this time, they can use sources (consultations, librarian, software, study materials, etc.) of the Czech centre of EBHC.

The second part of the program is focused on finalizing and completing the participant´s implementation projects. Most of the participants have been able to almost complete them and we know it wasn´t easy! They started projects before the pandemic situation without knowing what will happen and what obstacles and complications due to COVID-19 they will have to face. Someone had to start with a completely new topic and as someone said: „It was a rollercoaster!” However, it´s life to solve the problems and find the right solution!

We are really impressed with the participant's hard work and patient especially considering the barriers. Thank you for your great effort and for such important and impactful projects! You did an excellent job, congratulation again!

The outcome of this EBCFP course will be:

  • 12 Best Practice Implementation Projects, which will directly innovate current healthcare practice, which will benefit patients and reduce the redundant economic burden of healthcare.
  • preparation of implementation projects reports for publication in peer-reviewed journals “The JBI Database of Systematic Reviews and Implementation Reports” (https://journals.lww.com/jbisrir/pages/default.aspx) and "International Journal of Evidence-Based Healthcare" (https://journals.lww.com/ijebh/pages/default.aspx). The protocols and implementation reports developed in the project will be also presented at the SPIDER Multiplier Event that will be held on the 24th of June, online.

Dr. Klugarova as a powerful, inspiring leader supports all the participants during the whole EBCFP as well as her colleagues Laura Albornos Muñoz, Clare Louise Bennett, and Daniela Cardoso. Thank you for being so passionate, thank you for your approach, and for being great trainers!
