At the eastern end of the Bohunice campus, a new pavilion is growing rapidly. The five-storey building will bring a number of unique features to Masaryk University. "The building itself, with a usable area of almost eight thousand square meters intended exclusively for simulation teaching, will be one of the largest in Europe. It will be equipped with state-of-the-art trainers or patient mannequins. Together with the incorporation of computer algorithms, i.e. simulators with a low level of fidelity, referred to as virtual patients, it will be an exceptional workplace on a global scale, "said Petr Štourač, director of the Simulation Center of the MU Faculty of Medicine (SIMU).
