Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers a preparatory course for students who intend to enter studies of General Medicine or Dentistry. The programme provides excellent preparation for the entrance examination and the first year of our General Medicine / Dentistry degree through a well-balanced blend of modules in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers three E-learning preparatory courses for students who intend to study General Medicine, Dentistry in the English language and Intensive Czech Language Course for students who have already been accepted to study in the academic year. The course should provide an advantage of easier start to the introduction of the Czech language, orientation in grammar and conversational situations in everyday life.

The European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO) announced on 6 July the names of 67 newly elected members, including geneticist and molecular haematologist Šárka Pospíšilová who leads the Medical Genomics Research Group at MU’s CEITEC and works at the Institute of Medical Genetics and Genomics and the Department of Internal Medicine, Haematology and Oncology of the Faculty of Medicine and the University Hospital Brno.
