How to proceed if you happen to be a student-foreigner in the Czech Republic during the state of emergency?
All foreigners (including students), who were staying legally in the Czech Republic during the announcement of the emergency state, can remain in the Czech Republic until the end of the state of emergency without the need to further settle their residency status. The state of emergency all over the Czech Republic was announced on 12. March 2020 for the period of 30 days.
How to proceed if I am a student-foreigner and my current residency permit expires, and I want to stay in the Czech Republic, after the state of emergency is over?
We recommend applying for a new/prolonged residency permit or prolongation of long-term visa already during the emergency state, basically as soon as possible. Updated information on conditions for applications for residency permits during the emergency state.

I was supposed to receive the long-term visa, but given the current situation, I cannot go personally to the Embassy/Consulate, how to proceed?
The long-term visa can be collected at the Embassy/Consulate after the state of emergency is over and the borders re-open.
