Stories of Ordinary Medicine: A Future for the Children
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Ivo Smrž and his wife Míla had secure jobs at the hospital in Znojmo. Nevertheless, in the early 1980s, they decided to flee communist Czechoslovakia with their two children. Fate took them to Canada. And although they regularly returned to their homeland after the revolution, this year, after more than forty years, they came to visit their alma mater.
