Preclinical practice can be completed and preclinical lectures can be attended at the theoretical departments of the Faculty of Medicine or with the consent of the relevant course guarantor abroad. In this case, the course guarantor will grant recognition of the course after comparing the syllabus of the relevant curriculum course with the course's syllabus at the host institution.

Clinical practice can be completed and clinical lectures can be attended at the university hospitals or at an institution abroad with the consent of the relevant course guarantor. In this case, the course guarantor will grant recognition of the course after comparing the syllabus of the relevant curriculum course with the course's syllabus at the host institution. Students submit either an official transcript issued by the host institution or a logbook with an exactly defined list of clinical activities after completing an international placement.

International student placements are always administered under official mobility programmes and registered in the student’s study evidence in the Information System of Masaryk University (IS MU).

Recognition of course Completing a course (preclinical or clinical) at a foreign institution is always individually assessed and recognized by the Vice-Dean for International Affairs and International Students. Recognition is confirmed in a mobility programme agreement signed by three parties (the student, the Vice-Dean for International Affairs and International Students of MED MUNI, and a responsible person at a foreign institution).
