The current edition of the QS World University Rankings: Europe sees Masaryk University improve its last year’s ranking by eighteen positions, mostly due to the improving international reputation, internationalisation, quality of alumni and efforts in the area of sustainability.

The Masaryk University budget for 2024 amounting to CZK 11.8 billion was approved by the MU Academic Senate at its 278th session on Monday. Compared to the previous year, the budget has increased by CZK 1.8 billion.
On Wednesday, 15 May, the first year of the MUNI RUN will take place on the university campus in Bohunice. Participation is open to the general public – adults, children, students and MU employees. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the MUNI HELPS Volunteer Centre.
