Reverential assembly of the academic community of Masaryk University

Reverential assembly of the academic community of Masaryk University, which will take place at the Kounicova Halls of Residence on 11^th November from 16:00, reminding about the events of November 1939. The event is held to honour the memory of the imprisoned, tortured, and executed members of the academic community of the MU and other victims of Nazism. The Rector of Masaryk University Martin Bareš and representatives of all ten faculties will lay down wreaths at the memorial at Kounice Halls of Residence and will commemorate all the victims and heroes, who, faced with evil, did not surrender.
