Special study of theoretical courses of Biochemistry II and Physiology II in General Medicine programme.

Pursuant to the provision of Section 60 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll. as amended in Act No. 147/2001 Coll., on Higher Learning Institutions and on Amendments and Addenda to Other Acts, the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University implements Lifelong Learning Programmes (hereinafter referred to as LLP).

An LLP is completed by the issuance of a certificate on its successful completion. Successful graduates of the LLP, who obtain the required number of credits within the framework of the special study, may have these credits recognized by Masaryk University in full extent, if they become students (Sect. 60, par. 2, Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Learning Institutions, as amended).


Under LLP, applicants may complete ONLY a selected theoretical course included in the fourth semester of accredited Master’s degree programmes. At maximum, one theoretical course may be enrolled per semester and students can attend the same course only once under LLP. This opportunity is given only students who are lacking just one course out of 4 core course in the second year to be able to close attendance of the 2nd year. After successful completion of the selected course and passing the entrance examinations, they can be enrolled in the 3rd year of general medicine programme.

This programme is limited only to students who already studied at Medical Faculty, Masaryk University in English programmes and currently their study is non-active! All applicants have to meet required prerequisites otherwise the registration is cancelled.


Registration is only via email application to Markéta Neckařová open from 15th January 2020 till 7th February 2020 see links below. The applications will receive by email instructions of registration and payment if they meet the conditions for enrolment of the course.


Lifelong Learning Programme Fee for the academic year 2019/2020 CZK 25,000 for one course and semester and its participants are not students in terms of the Act mentioned above.

If students register courses and they do not meet mentioned prerequisites, the courses will be cancelled from the registration.
