Special study of theoretical courses:
Biochemistry II or Physiology II in General Medicine program
Pursuant to the provision of Section 60 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll. as amended in Act No. 147/2001 Coll., on Higher Learning Institutions and on Amendments and Addenda to Other Acts, the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University implements Lifelong Learning Programmes (hereinafter referred to as LLP).
An LLP is completed by the issuance of a certificate on its successful completion. Successful graduates of the LLP, who obtain the required number of credits within the framework of the special study, may have these credits recognized by Masaryk University in full extent, if they become students (Sect. 60, par. 2, Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Learning Institutions, as amended).
Conditions
Under LLP, applicants may complete ONLY a selected theoretical course included in an accredited Master’s degree program. You can register for the selected courses according to the below-stated rules:
Only one theoretical course may be enrolled per semester and students can attend the same course only once under LLP. This opportunity is given only to students who are lacking just one course out of 4 core courses in the 2nd year to be able to close attendance of the 2nd year. After successful completion of the selected course and passing the entrance exam, they can be enrolled in the 3rd year of the general medicine programme.
This programme is limited only to students who have already studied at Medical Faculty, Masaryk University in English programmes and their studies are currently non-active! All applicants have to meet the required prerequisites otherwise the registration is cancelled.
Registration
Apply only if you meet the conditions above. Register only via email from 15th January 2024 till 12th February 2024. Contact Markéta Neckařová mneckar@med.muni.cz The applicants will receive instructions about registration and payment by email.
Fee
Lifelong Learning Programme Fee for the academic year 2023/2024 CZK 25,000 for one course and semester and its participants are not students in terms of the Act mentioned above.

If students register for courses and they do not meet mentioned prerequisites, the courses will be canceled from the registration.
