We bring you a selection of the most interesting achievements and events at our faculty in the field of science and research in December 2025.

Four doctoral students from our faculty were successful in this year's Brno PhD Talent competition for promising young scientists. The competition, organized by the South Moravian Center for International Mobility, is intended for students in the fields of life sciences and technical sciences. The winners receive CZK 360,000 to develop their research.

A breakthrough scientific discovery is only the beginning. An equally demanding journey leads from the laboratory toward real-world application—toward technologies that can help patients, advance medicine, or boost agricultural yields. Participants in the first run of the Life Science Transfer Academy, a two-month educational program for young life science researchers, set out to understand how to navigate this path.

This webinar will be held on Tuesday, December 9^th, at  8AM CEST, and will be led by Dr. Lym Frumkin.
