Two Ph.D. candidates from FM MU were awarded with Brno Ph.D. Talent
In this year´s Brno Ph.D. Talent competition two Ph.D. candidates from FM MU succeeded.
The competition for PhD candidates from 4 Brno universities is organised every year by the South Moravian Centre for International Mobility (JCMM). It is open to first-year students of natural sciences and engineering. Successful candidates will receive CZK 300,000 to support their dissertation projects, spread evenly over the next 3 years of study.
This year, two PhD candidates from the MU Faculty of Medicine succeeded:
- Ema Huščavová (supervisor JaromírGumulec, Physiology, Pathological Physiology, Medicinal Chemistry and Biochemistry): her dissertation project focuses on the analysis of cellular processes from quantitative phase microscopy.
- Haneen Riadh Ali Tuaima (supervisor Jan Křivánek, Biomedical Sciences): in her dissertation project, she focuses on stem cell niche heterogeneity in tooth development and regeneration
