A fifth-year General Medicine student from Michal Masařík's research group won the CELLIM Best Image Contest 2023.
The competition, organised by the Cellular Imaging Core Facility at CEITEC MU and sponsored by the microscope manufacturer ZEISS, annually awards photographs taken with confocal microscopes. Students and PhD students from LF MU regularly take the top positions.
The vice-rector of Masaryk University for doctoral studies and head of the research group at the Institute of Medical Genetics and Genomics at the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty Hospital Brno, Šárka Pospíšilová, who also works at CEITEC MU, has been included in Forbes magazine's list of the most influential women in the Czech Republic 2025.
