Description Glomangiopericytoma belongs to category of borderline and low-malignant-potential soft-tissue tumors of the nose and paranasal sinuses. Hemangiopericytoma was first described by Stout & Murray in 1942, as tumour from specialized pericapillary pericytic cells of Zimmermann. Hemangiopericytoma represents 1% of all vascular tumours , 3% of all soft-tissue sarcomas. The frequency of incidence in the head and neck is estimated between 16% and 33% of all hemangiopericytomas occurring in various localizations. Glomangiopericytoma can occur in any age group, but the highest incidence is between fifth and seventh decade, with no sex predilection.
