| Description | Our results suggest that increased p-SOD at the time of the initial treatment for HNSCC is connected with a greater extent and nodal metastatic spread of the initial disease and an earlier disease relapse. Progression of diseases might be further modified by the presence of Ala/Ala genotype of the SOD2. Activity of p-SOD could thus offer diagnostic as well as prognostic value. |
