Description Cardiomyopathy induced chemotherapy is common after antitumour antibiotic-anthracyclines. The chronic late cardiomyopathy is related to the cumulative dose of anthracyclines. Th incidence of clinicaly apparent congestive heart failure stars in creasily after cumulative doses exceed 450 mg/m2 for doxorubicin. Late onset congestve heart failure and long term folow up studies demonstrating a high incidence of sublinical damage.
