Description	Species composition of subaerial cyanobacteria in 8 gorges of National Park Slovak Paradise (Prielom Hornadu, Klastorska roklina, Kysel, Sucha Bela, Piecky, Sokol, Zelena dolina and Stratensky kanon). was investigated over a period of three years with samples collected and monospecific cultures clultivated. A total of 127 taxa of cyanobacteria were determined. The coccal cyanobacterua are dominatinhg in these subaerial calcareous habitats.
