| Description | Drug interaction is a phenomenon, when the effects of the parent drug is changed, because adding a drug to cure other deficiencies will be combined with certain types of food. The importance of drug interactions increases with polypharmacy. Interactions occur at the level of antipsychotics pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic. Basic knowledge of psychiatrists should be aware of the receptor profile and the main routes of metabolism of psychotropic drugs. |
