FM MU Academic Senate approved the appointment of two new vice-deans and the annual report for 2022

At the FM MU Academic Senate meeting on Tuesday 20 June, two new vice-deans and members of the Disciplinary Committee were appointed, the name of one of the departments was changed, and the annual report for 2022 was approved.

Prof. Eva Brichtová, M.D., Ph.D., who is the Deputy Head of the Neurosurgery Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine and the St. Anne's University Hospital in Brno, will be appointed as the new Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and External Relations. Eva Brichtová briefly served in this position as the Vice-Dean in charge after the departure of the former Vice-Dean Mgr. Jana Fialová, Ph.D. to the position of Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and External Relations. The ranks of vice-deans will be expanded by Mgr. Bc. Michal Koščík, Ph.D., who will be appointed Vice-Dean for Personnel Affairs, Internal Organization and Legislation.

The Academic Senate of FM MU adopted in other resolutions the appointment of members of the Disciplinary Committee of FM MU consisting of. PharmDr. Jan Juřica, Ph.D., prof. MUDr. Filip Růžička Ph.D., MUDr. Filip Marek, Ph.D., Kristián Kalianko, Sára Blahová and Adam Wechsler, also elected Matyáš Rece to the Teaching Committee of the FM MU AS and Matyáš Fejfar to the Economic Committee of the LF MU AS. The Senate also approved the change of the name of the department "Department of Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and General Medicine" to the new name of the department "General Internal Medicine Clinic", effective from 1 January 2024.
