Whiston hospital, Liverpool offers an opportunity to apply for 'Year 1 and 2 Trust Junior Clinical Fellow’ programme after your graduation. For the fifth consecutive year, St Helens and Knowsley NHS Trust, one of leading NHS Employers in the United Kingdom, are now recruiting with interviews to be held at Masaryk University.

PREGRADUATION PRACTICES AT WHISTON HOSPITAL
UPDATE:
As Whiston Hospital is dealing with alteration of their financing, the application is postponed to April / May 2023.
- an offer to do the internship of Surgery and/or Internal Medicine at Whiston hospital, Liverpool during autumn semesters
- available for 6th (final) Year students of General Medicine programme of British and Irish citizenship as well as for students with residency in the UK
- It is also possible to undertake a Paediatrics internship; however, only with a combination of Surgery and Internal Medicine
- for being nominated, you have to sign up for a nomination process; the compulsory part of the application is a 300-500-word motivation letter (instructions about the process will be sent via email); your position in the rank of applicants will be influenced by your study average and the quality of the motivation letter
- the hospital offers placement for 10 students
- the internships will be recognized as aVLVL11Xpp Internal Medicine – Pre-graduation Practice, aVLCH11Xpp Surgery – Pre-graduation Practice, and aVLPD11Xpp Pediatrics - Pre-graduation Practice
- the internship must be administrated under a mobility programme; you can get some financial support from Freemover mobility programme
- as a UK citizen or if the UK is your home country, you are not entitled to receive the financial support; your internship must still be administrated under Freemover mobility programme
