Sustainability

At Masaryk University, following the example of international good practice, the issue of sustainable operation is approached responsibly and with respect.

Masaryk University as a whole and within all its units has been active in the field of sustainable development and socially responsible behaviour for a long time.

In addition to responsible procurement, it emphasizes energy management in building management, uses renewable energy sources, focuses on energy-saving solutions in the construction of new campuses, and implements many other projects on sustainability and environmental protection using the capacities of the university's scientific departments.
