Foundation programme
The Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University offers a preparatory course for students who intend to study general medicine or dentistry. The programme provides excellent preparation for the entrance examination and the first year of our General Medicine / Dentistry degree studies through a well-balanced blend of modules in chemistry, biology, and physics.

Preparatory Courses
The Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University offers three e-learning preparatory courses for students who intend to taker the entrance exam for the General Medicine and Dentistry programmes in the English language. Biology, chemistry and physics courses can be purchased separately. Each course costs 100 euros.

A Memorial to Body Donors was unveiled at Brno Central Cemetery on 3 November. The Faculty of Medicine now has a dignified place to express gratitude to those who decided to donate their bodies after death for educational, scientific, and research purposes.

Šárka Pospíšilová receives Medal of Merit for science and research
Molecular biologist and geneticist Šárka Pospíšilová, who also serves as Vice-Rector of Masaryk University for Research and Doctoral Studies, has been awarded the national Medal of Merit for her work in science and research. Her work has significantly advanced the diagnosis of leukaemia and has contributed to a deeper understanding of the genetic make-up of the Czech population.
