Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers a preparatory course for students who intend to enter studies of General Medicine or Dentistry. The programme provides excellent preparation for the entrance examination and the first year of our General Medicine / Dentistry degree through a well-balanced blend of modules in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Preparatory Courses
Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers three E-learning preparatory courses for students who intend to study General Medicine, Dentistry in the English language and Intensive Czech Language Course for students who have already been accepted to study in the academic year. The course should provide an advantage of easier start to the introduction of the Czech language, orientation in grammar and conversational situations in everyday life.

MU’s New Year greeting card created by students
The design of MU’s New Year’s greeting for 2023 was the result of a student contest. The contest was supervised by Jana Nedomová from the Faculty of Education’s Department of Art. Students submitted 70 designs. The jury selected Marie Kudláčková’s design which has been modified into its final form.

MU wins award for career counselling for Ukrainian refugees
The MU Career Centre received special recognition for providing timely and comprehensive counselling services to student refugees from Ukraine. The award was presented at a ceremony in Prague to representatives of the Career Centre, headed by Ukrainian counsellor Sofia Berezka.

The Grant Agency of Masaryk University held its annual conference in the Augustinian Abbey last Wednesday, 30 November. It included, for the third time, the MUNI Scientist Award ceremony.
