Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers a preparatory course for students who intend to enter studies of General Medicine or Dentistry. The programme provides excellent preparation for the entrance examination and the first year of our General Medicine / Dentistry degree through a well-balanced blend of modules in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Preparatory Courses
The Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers three E-learning preparatory courses for students who intend to get ready for the entrance exam for the General Medicine and Dentistry programme in the English language. Biology, Chemistry and Physics can be purchased as separate courses. Each course costs 100 Euro.

What are challenges of individualising society?
Doing it all on our own: the opportunities and risks of the individualisation of society. This is the title of a project that will be conducted by experts from the MU Faculty of Social Studies over the next several years. The project has received almost 150 million crowns from the Jan Amos Komenský Operational Programme.

RECETOX Research Team Successfully Completes Project on Male Reproductive Toxicity Assessment Without Animal Testing
At the end of last year, the RECETOX center successfully completed a project funded by the Czech Science Foundation (GA CR) titled “Alternative Approaches in the Assessment of Male Reproductive Toxicity of Chemical Mixtures Without Animal Testing.” The project focused on potentially hazardous chemicals and their mixtures that can affect reproduction or reproductive health in men. The main goal was to improve this assessment by incorporating in vitro models, which have proven to be more effective and relevant than currently used animal testing.
