Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers a preparatory course for students who intend to enter studies of General Medicine or Dentistry. The programme provides excellent preparation for the entrance examination and the first year of our General Medicine / Dentistry degree through a well-balanced blend of modules in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Preparatory Courses
Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers three E-learning preparatory courses for students who intend to study General Medicine, Dentistry in the English language and Intensive Czech Language Course for students who have already been accepted to study in the academic year. The course should provide an advantage of easier start to the introduction of the Czech language, orientation in grammar and conversational situations in everyday life.

Czech patients are always surprised I am British
“My life has been largely driven by coincidence,” says Stuart Andrew Hopkinson, a graduate of the MU Faculty of Medicine who hails from the United Kingdom. The fact that he went to study in the Czech Republic was a coincidence too, as was the fact that he ended up staying in Brno.

Zubov: Staying in Russia meant being quiet or jailed
After his first lecture at Masaryk University, professor Andrey Borisovich Zubov talked at today’s press conference about his gratitude for the possibility to speak in public after eight years. The historian moved to Brno with his family after Russia’s partial mobilization.
