The Indian Community of the Czech Republic is inviting everyone living in Brno to the Festival of Colors (Holi) on 18 March at Semilasso, the biggest-ever venue for the festival in Brno.
The Semilasso cultural centre will host the event with live dances and musical performances, delicious food and powdered colours for participants to sprinkle on each other as is traditional in the famous Holi festival. The event will continue with a live Bollywood DJ night with DJ Deepak Joshi.
Volunteers from IFMSA CZ Brno transformed the Brno shopping center Olympia into an improvised clinic over the weekend of November 15-16. On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, they offered passers-by a moment to pause, free examinations, and important education on preventing lifestyle diseases.
Students of the Paramedic Science degree programme at the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University, have achieved an exceptional success in the SimUniversity competition. The team composed of Michal Bělka, Pavel Krejčí, Šimon Zeljenka and Josef Růžička not only won the local round but also confirmed their excellence in the national finals, where they took first place among teams from all medical faculties in the Czech Republic.
They now face an online international qualifying round, which will determine whether they advance to the world finals in Lyon, France.
